The Federation is very attentive to all this, because the evolutions in the specialties and in the calendars will gradually lead the Coastal to be an Olympic specialty and therefore a sector to be specialized at all levels, whether they are athletes, judges, technicians or managers. “I can say that I am very happy that this race takes place right here, in the heart of Tuscany, where teams from abroad will be able to appreciate not only the technical qualities of the boats, but also the art, the gastronomy and the culture that our territory encompasses”.
He was echoed by the Mayor of Castagneto Sandra Scarpellini, underlining how “the organizing committee’s initiative brings benefits to the entire territory in which the Filippi brand, which over the years has crossed national borders, represents an absolute excellence to be added to the others that this area expresses”.

With the gold pearl in the M8+ in Tokyo 2020, which is the spring to insist and do even better to put technicians and athletes in the best conditions to express themselves in the race.
“We cannot stop – said the owner of Filippi – and the commitment made in support of the ERCC goes in this direction.”
The conclusion to the President of the Donoratico Nautical Club Franco Serretti, regional rowing pole for coastal rowing, aware of the importance of enhancing sports tourism in a club that is affiliated with 4 different Federations but that in the coastal has found the key to create a rowing school in the area: “a unique discipline of its kind – he said – for the spectacular appeal it offers but which must grow from an organizational and technical point of view in order to welcome all those who, above all from abroad, stimulated by the presence of Filippi in Donoratico, will come knocking on our door.”
